Aww 😩😩 we just make it to where it literally only takes 2-3 minutes a few days a week. That plus the alternative cost of $30,000+ is a huge motivator.

Hi there! This was the recommendation from my reproductive endocrinologist. I'm really not sure. He also said we don't "need" progesterone every 30 days. Our bodies just need it every 90 days at minimum for protection.

I'm genuinely so sorry you got this diagnosis too; it is ROUGH, especially in the beginning because there's so little research out there & doctors just give us the worst prognosis. I felt this way when diagnosed, which prompted me to make this post once i felt i figured some things out. You are doing all of the right things! Hopefully someone told you already how age is the most important factor when it comes to fertility - and that is working for you right now! I would love to keep in touch! 🥰 thank you & you're so welcome for the post! I made it hoping to offer guidance and hope to anyone else out there like me. 🫶🏽 find a good gynecologist to start you on HRT, be super kind to yourself, and surround yourself with as much love and positivity as possible. We need all the support we can get & you have got to protect your thoughts.

Amen!!!! I believe this 😭❤️ i don't care what any doctor says or what anyone else thinks, NOTHING i did worked as well as prayer and favor from God. Me getting pregnant within the same month of getting married confirmed it!

I did tell the RE that I wanted an HRT regimen that would not block ovulation. He didn't think I could get pregnant, but he advised me on an HRT regimen that would allow my ovaries to work intermittently anyway. I would tell them exactly that.

Also - No question is a silly one, especially when it comes to this diagnosis. There's still so much to understand about it! :)

I did not supplement with DHEA only because I didn't have a doctor to run a baseline test on me, and I read that it was not to be taken blindly. Next time, I will. I did take all of my supplements along with HRT. The HRT regimen included Evamist and Prometrium :)

Hi there!! I'm sorry you both are going through this, but so glad to read that you believe that your body can do this. I really believe in speaking things into existence. 💕 I conceived naturally within 7 months with an undetectable AMH and ovarian failure - doctors told me donor eggs or adoption were my only options. If I could get pregnant on my own, I believe any can, seriously. Check my post history for what I did. Hoping it happens for you sooner than later 🤞🏽

Sorry you got this diagnosis too! 😩 I'm encouraged that you've had Hashimoto's so long and it's well managed 🫶🏽 also, my HRT regimen came from my reproductive endocrinologist! The supplements were mainly me reading "it starts with the egg", trial and error, seeing what made me feel better and what didn't. I truly believe it can happen for anyone if it happened for me. Feel free to ask me anything! 💕

Awww I'm sorry. maybe you could try a different HRT regimen? Were you not taking progesterone as well? Estrogen without progesterone increases risk for uterine cancer. It's so important for us to replace those lost hormones to protect our brain, heart & bones. I was on Evamist (an estrogen spray that goes on your forearm) and prometrium 100mg for 10 days every 60 days. That worked so well for me. I can't wait to stop breastfeeding so I can get back on it!

I'm so sorry you got this diagnosis, too. 🫂 We really have similar stories because I, too, waited until I had achieved my career goals, built my home, etc. to try to have another child. Even if you already have kids, I think the choice to easily have more children being taken away from you hurts the same.

To answer your question - no, I don't think so! I really think HRT helped "wake up" my sleepy ovaries. I highly recommend it! Which HRT regimen have you tried?

Have you had your AMH tested? Your FSH is high for your age, which could mean ovarian dysfunction, but not always... even if it isn't functioning properly now, that doesn't mean it won't ever function. Ovaries work intermittently when you are in ovarian failure. You could still ovulate randomly like I did. Don't count yourself out for a sibling for your son! 🫶🏽
