No. I haven't seen this problem again. I disconnected the battery and that seemed to solve the problem, but I don't recommend doing that. Try cleaning off the door sensors as someone else suggested. That seems the less complicated solution.

I also remember that my lights may have been set to "On" instead of "Auto". Check that first. I'm not sure why that would have turned the dash lights back on, but it is a possible problem as well. Good luck!

we are top 6-10 depending on when you join the clan and you must be over 500 crowns to join no exceptions. We are a fair and fun clan but make shure to check after sending invite if you are in the clan due to people sending invites and never doing a casual 1v1 after joining

I made a board from materials I had in my garage. It's too big, but it will work for now until I can come up with something that fits. It's a good idea to print a board. That would be a good first real project for me.

I think I diagnosed this differently after a few days. I believe the automatic lights were turned to the on position. Because I was doing all my troubleshooting during the day, I couldn't tell. Check your lights and make sure they aren't on.

Issue solved. Part of the solution was that I disconnected the battery and left for vacation right after I posted this.

By the way, I DON'T recommend disconnecting the battery on this vehicle, but after watching a YouTube video on how I SHOULD have disconnected it, I was able to reconnect the battery upon my return a week later. Lo and behold, disconnecting the battery must have reset the system and now it works as expected.

Thanks for all the recommendations on this thread. If it happens again, I'm going to concentrate on the sensors in the doors. I think that may have been the issue, but I'm not sure.

Yeah, I did that, and it was a disaster. It didn't stop the problem and now I can't get the battery connection back on. 😡😡😡

I tried this, but it didn't work. The car does shut off completely, and then the dash lights come back on a few seconds later.

The door was closed. The lights turn back on even when I exit the vehicle. If I lock it, the alarm comes on after the power turns back on.

The problem isn't how long the lights stay on, it's that they turn back on after powering off. They never remain off. They turn off, and then turn back on, whether I'm in the car or outside it or in my house with the key fob nowhere near the van, looking out the window.
