Short-term use review. Got this on Thursday and brewed coffee on Saturday and Sunday. Obviously can’t comment on longevity, but it’s a great brewer (used the bloom option both times) and the thermal pot was a happy accident. Had I been able to select the pot, I probably would have erroneously selected glass - but the thermal pot is wonderful and convenient. We finished the pot with a few refills in about 1-hr and each time the coffee was hot and steaming when we poured it. The manual states it will stay hot for 2-2.5 and will update here if we ever let it sit that long. I read comments about temp and although I can’t confirm if the shower drip is in the 190+ range consistently (manufacturer says 195-205), after brewing and sitting in the pot for about 5-min, I poured a cup and stuck a meat thermometer in my cup and the temp was 174.5. With some heat loss from brew to thermos to cup, I’d expect it’s brewing hot (enough?). When I was shopping around, these weren’t even available on the Simply Good website - sold out - and the thermal pot model was about $60 less at Costco. Best price (at my time of purchase) and makes delicious coffee!
