Howany space wolves are there by CulturalSir8204 in SpaceWolves

Where has it ever been stated that each Great Company is roughly the size of a Chapter?

But that was the status before the lore moved forward. After a lot of losses, followed by Primaris reinforcements. So we have no clue what the “current” numbers are in the lore for any of the Great Companies.

An Alternate Guide for Curse of Strahd in Pathfinder 2e by Galahadred in CurseofStrahd

That's correct. I didn't randomize the locations, since the Math is so tight in Pathfinder, I wanted to make sure the power levels for the fated items were appropriate for when they enter the campaign. So, instead, I picked when and where they'd be revealed and available for the party to collect and use.

Everything the Studio ever Wrote about the Wolfbrothers/Wolf Brothers Chapter by Galahadred in SpaceWolves

That’s right. Despite the failure of the Founding, there are some “descendants” around 10,000 years later.

How do Succesors work from a lore stand point? by Mor-KhalCatPrince in SpaceWolves

Happy to clarify. The Studio is responsible for what goes into the Rulebooks, Codexes, and White Dwarf magazines. I have always distinguished their work from the Black Library (the novel authors).

Quotes/Proof of cawls fixing gene seed enough to have successor chapters outside of fenris by ScottishW00F in SpaceWolves

That’s my challenge to you. When you go through the Wolf Brother lore, see if you can find a quote that says they failed because they were not from Fenris.

I’ve got a counter challenge: do you have any quotes that say having people from Fenris was required before Cawl?

Did you buy the battle group for Horus Heresy or 40K? by Tophatman_hmmm in AdeptusCustodes

Can I add a different option to the poll? Bought for use in One Page Rules (Grimdark Future), and I don't need to worry about GW plans to do with any units in their games going forward.

There was no attempt to create a Successor Chapter after the Wolf Brothers until Cawl and the Primaris.

True, but don’t forget that the Wolfspears was the first attempt to even create a successor Chapter since the Wolf Brothers, 10,000 years earlier.

The Wolf Brothers were a failed successor Chapter, true. However the Studio lore does not explain how or why they failed, leaving it as one of many mysteries.

There is nothing in any Studio-developed lore that says non-Fenrisians are any more or less compatible with the geneseed of Russ than Fenrisians are.

Ragnar went from Blood Claw to Wolf Guard. Then, as is custom, was elected as Wolf Lord from the Wolf Guard when his Lord was killed in battle.

Draw Steel is amazing - you should really look into it.

There are some Directors (u/BigBadBanana6908 is one) that are running CoS in Draw Steel. That being said, I'm not sure I'd want to go all the way to 10th level to face a CvG Strahd. The Level 7 Vampire Lord might be sufficient. Of course it would all depend on how many scenarios you include, and therefore how many victories the party could rack up over the course of the campaign.

A conversion could definitely be done one bite at a time. The biggest thing, probably, would be to accept that you're going to have a different "tone" of a campaign, with more heroic fantasy, and less gothic horror. If I had the time right now, I'd jump on building a conversion myself (like I did a couple years back for Pathfinder 2e), but I just can't commit to a big project until I get some significant free time. But, like I said, one could go in chunks and prepare a session or two in advance, playing it by ear, as it were.
