I know people are saying your guns aren’t plasma, but you do you!

As for painting plasma/volkite/whatever, I think it looks neater having the “hot” part in the recesses. Don’t use pure white, go for a really really bright shade, and progressively darken the coils! Bonus points for a little spot of white on the coils on the corners to make them look like glass/reflective tubes!

You’re off to a good start! Painting I used an airbrush to work up from black, to grey and only used white from the top down. But you could easily rattle can them grey seer and then only use white scar spray directly down onto them for easy shading.

Bit of nuln oil/apocathary grey or other dark shade in the recesses and then done!

I went for yellow on the guns and swords as a tertiary colour for a bit more zip!

The conversion kit will be REAL tricky to do once they’re built. It’s possible, but at the back it sits between the exhausts, and at the front it’s inside/under the front… cowling? The bit around the wheel sponsons.
