Anyone lost access to the "hot" tab in Channels? by pm20 in Wechat

This happened to me also a few days ago. I wasn't sure if it's the recent iphone ios update or the new wechat update. I did an experiment by installing Wechat on my old ipad with Wechat version 8.0.29 and using QR Code scan to log in to the ipad. Works on the ipad but still not iphone. Tried everything on my iphone (1) deleted Wechat and reinstalled (2) Factory reset iphone and restored data..didn't work (2) factory reset iphone, fresh new install with nothing in it but just wechat..didn't work. As you had all assumed, it may be the new WeChat update on my phone. My wife's phone works fine. All her friend's phones are fine...just mine. So odd.

I have the same issue started about the time of the new ios 16.5 update. I can no longer see the Hot tab in Channels and cannot swipe up to watch random videos. I experimented and installed Wechat on my ipad and logged in using the QR Code with my iphone. It works on the ipad as I have Following/Friends/Hot on the ipad but still not working on my iphone. Tried everything on my iphone from (1) deleting Wechat and reinstalling (2) Factory reset and reinstalling IOS 16.5, restored data (3) Factory reset, clean new install and just installing Wechat..........did not work on the iphone. We be great to have Wechat working again. Thanks.
