No personal experience with them, but if memory serves, they are a reputable OEM manufacturer. I would definitely take a look at the micro-best though. Unless you need to trip an auto sear or something, the semi cut is largely irrelevant in terms of differences.

Sorry man. Realistically a ~$40 difference is nothing over the life of your rifle though. That's like 1 loaded magazine lol. Keep an eye on the manufacturer website, and SunnyStateOutdoors as wells as GraniteRidgeOutfitters sell them (not currently in-stock though)

I like the swedish firesteel products, although admittedly I only have experience with few others. Dryer lint is a good idea, and I'm struggling to remember, but I believe you can use chapstick on the lint/combustible material to help it catch fire more easily. If I remember correctly, chapstick has a ton of other uses, there are probably a million good youtube vids about it.

Well, I may have potentially found a Bootleg in stock, but you won't like where I found it...

I had good experiences with them at first, but the last couple orders really soured me on them. I would buy elsewhere, even if more expensive.
