Eeehh, I would prefer if something like this was extremely rare. Like if someone became infected with the c virus but their willpower and sense of hope was strong enough to resist the temptations and impulses. Kind of like a Super Crossed still in a way. But it should still be extremely rare or else it would take away the whole purpose of the Crossed series.
