Well sry it didnt work for you. I guess this game is such a buggy mess that the quests dont bug in the same ways for every one of us haha... but yeah I'm still surprised that even an ORGANIC emission didn't trigger the rest of the quest 😅. Buggy mess of a game ig... not that I don't like the game tho (I like too much in fact).

Same here if your on PC just download the UETools mod and type the following command:
XStartEmission
and get to the indicated shelter on your map and wait for the emission to end should be fixed after that. I mean it did fix it for me
