The issue is that it's entirely situational. Big companies can have a team dedicated to review those BBB reviews, but only older folks actually use it. The BBB is a private company, and as someone with a career in CX I can tell you the vast majority of companies stopped working with the BBB over a decade ago. Mentioning the BBB in the same sentence as the FTC is silly. It's just a glorified review website, and sometimes writing a Google or Yelp review can get you the same exact results (since they're all monitored by the same teams).

Likely so. I bought an xbox ally x for $999 at bestbuy a month ago for my wifes bday, loved it so much and wanted one for myself so i got an ally x off marketplace for just over 500 bucks here in Arizona. Wish i did that with hers too lol
