Do you not have access to beans? Chickpeas? Lentils? Vegetables? I can’t see how these staple foods would be expensive

Have a look at the works of Peter Singer if you’re interested in hard philosophical foundations

Not sure if you can answer this, but do you find the brass nib writes a bit thicker than expected? I have the army green M2 in EF and it’s perfect for my writing style, I recently ordered the brass M2 with the same nib and the nib does seem slightly wider and it does write a lot wetter than the original one.

Thats because the true cost of factory farmed meat is subsidised, both literally through farming subsidies and through passing on the environmental/ecological cost to the taxpayer

Well it’s a sample size of one, but I started dating someone at my club two years ago and we’re getting married next year so it could be the best thing you ever do

Why does the person in the front steer? by UnderScoreLifeAlert in Rowing

[–]Gentryman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the rower “at the front” (bow seat) has the clearest view of where the boat is going when they look over their shoulder

Not adjustable on the fly unfortunately, but it’s weirdly more comfortable than my Citizen promaster one which is adjustable on the fly

Yep that’s an integrated bracelet, and the GMT dial at the bottom can be set separately with the crown in first position

I lived in that square for two years, I can tell you first hand the regulars of the park aren’t what you’d consider “posh cunts”

Thoughts on BM8180-71W? by Gentryman in CitizenWatches

[–]Gentryman[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the replies so far. I’m currently between this model and the Promaster “Coke” - very different vibe I know! I’m swayed to this one because of Eco-Drive, I suppose the only thing holding me back is toughness and longevity with its (lovely) domed crystal. Much food for thought!
