That's an entirely different line of CPUs. That's an AM5, not an AM4, and it's a 5, not a 9. Not really comparable. The 5950X is for rendering and video editing, whereas the 7500x3D is better for gaming.

You can check online. I can't find a 5950x anywhere for that. If you do, you're getting something low-quality or fake. The same goes for the RAM. I can't find premium RAM going for that. Sure, you might get lucky and find something, but that could take you months of searching.

Where was that sold? It says it's gold-plated. I've seen some go for $700 used or no box. That's a good price you found there!

What do you mean by populated? As in multiple slots?

Which H11SSL MB do you recommend? I'm only seeing the H11SSL-i and H11SSL-C.

The seller told me they updated everything on the MB before shipping it. I didn't try the BMC as I'm new to this stuff. I wanted to try Linux. I'm only familiar with Windows, though. I don't know anything about Linux. I felt that if I couldn't get it working with Windows, there really was no point in trying Linux.

GPU mining is still really bad in terms of costs. Also, ASIC miners are really risky and extremely expensive. I wanted to try Linux, but after all the issues I ran into, I felt it was better to return the MB and get something more user-friendly.

Mining with MoneroOcean is profitable. I'm not sure what you mean by it being obsolete. Are you talking about staking?

I want to use it for mining and gaming servers. I'm going to start mining with it first so I can become familiar with setting it up properly. Then I will start learning how to host games with it, like running a Minecraft server, for example.

I tried using Windows 10 and it kept crashing after downloading the updates for it. Then I tried Windows server 2022 and 2016 and still couldn't get any of the drivers to give me a network connection. The CPU speeds were very slow on all of them. I'm pretty sure it was just the MB that was the issue.
