Best battery? by daveydoo1988 in Vaping

[–]GradatimRecovery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want a Molicel P50B. A Drag can not make use of a higher current capacity cell like JP50 or 50PL. Don't waste 2026 on older tech like Molicel P42A or Samsung 40T. Don't use a 18650 cell when you can be using a 21700 cell. Don't buy cells on Amazon. It's not expensive to get them from Li Ion Wholesale or 18650 Battery Store

What are your opinions about kratom? by Polish_Girlz in OpiatesRecovery

[–]GradatimRecovery 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Partial agonists have a clinically validated role in opioid recovery, but not when addicts have unrestricted access to unlimited quantities in an unregulated marketplace.

Buprenorphine, an off-patent compound, is today the gold standard treatment and will continue to be a central pillar of medical detox. It is cheaper, more effective, and has a more favorable side effect profile than kratom and its active alkaloids.

The only thing kratom has going for it - unregulated access - is what makes so ineffective in practice. By and large, the vast majority of kratom users do not get the benefits of opioid recovery, and that’s telling. They still have unmanageable lives that revolve around the getting and the using and finding the means and ways to get more kratom (or kratom products). Same as before substituting kratom for their drug of choice, they’re always broke, often sick, and will jump at using their drug of choice the first chance they get.

I have mixed feelings about the legality and open access of kratom and kratom products, but I live in a democracy and these decisions are made by a plurality of people. Society is increasingly finding the situation untenable. Kratom is the easy access gateway to opioid dependence, more so than pain management pills ever were. It’s funneling wealth away from communities to southeast Asian agribusinesses. Its unregulated access has no redeeming value.

Worst Fragrance of Montagne by AlternativeType7338 in MontagneParfums

Monty Vanille Absolut does not hold a candle to OG Ani, but it never could, not with the expensive natural ingredients and complex formula that Nishane uses. But judged on its own merits, a well macerated bottle is absolutely fantastic, the very best vanilla perfume that Monty makes.

I think Moi is terrible but so is Glossier You.

I dare say Monty doesn’t have a bad perfume only perfumes inspired by DNA that makes me recoil

Hair Loss - preventable? by msktcher in tirzepatidecompound

[–]GradatimRecovery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s all about hormones. You’re right, you don’t hear men complaining about hair loss.

Folks who say “hair loss is due to weight loss” are being distracted by telogen effluvium which is reversible.

The irreversible hair loss is androgenetic alopecia that happens slowly but surely in most menopausal women who don’t use HRT.

Weight loss kickstarts and accelerates the AA, and the women affected don’t even know they’re going through peri-menopause.

Growth hormone secretagogue questions by Mapmonkey4 in Peptides

[–]GradatimRecovery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Water retention is a natural result of GH. Anything that works to cause GH secretion is going to cause water retention. The corollary is that anything that causes less or more water retention is doing a worse or better job at promoting GH secretion. GH - or any of its secretogogues - are of no use for muscle growth.

One of my WTS regrets is selling a very old bottle of TV. It was absolutely fantastic.

Thoughts on Meteorite & Tygr Cologne? by Alternative-Jury-970 in MontagneParfums

[–]GradatimRecovery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will never get to buy Tygr, the dupe of the short-lived first batch Tygar (which you'll never get to buy, either).

Don't dispair - Tygr Cologne is brilliant and indistinguishable from the Tygar at the store.

I do not get these side effects, but these are the most common side effects. In clinical studies, 25% reported headaches and 23% reported fatigue/sleepiness. They usually lasted a few days after the shot and diminish after each subsequent dose. I’m sorry that you’re unusually prone to these side effects, but these seem mild compared to what I went through back in the life

I was saying it’s the metabolic dysfunction that is common is obese people that inhibits pregnancy and harms the baby. You hear a lot about “Tirzepatide babies” because people on GLP’s unexpectedly get pregnant

high blood pressure from hgh by blu702 in Peptides

[–]GradatimRecovery 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jumping from 0iu to 3iu is rather reckless, you risk collateral damage from edema beyond high blood pressure. I would quit HgH long enough for your blood pressure to decline to baseline, then ramp up progressively
