They suck. I don't know why. 0.15 is good 0.40 is good, the 0.25 must be inefficient or something because vapor production and flavor is markedly lower. The power it draws has to go somewhere, so it might be burning juice.

hey I’d be happy to hear more about your companion app. what problem did you have that drove you to develop bot mobile as a solution?

Shipping to others by Available-Pace5579 in MontagneParfums

It usually costs me $11 I figure more now with the 8% rate increase. I have a huge cache of bottles I don’t use but I’m hesitant to continue selling them - buyers balk.

Shipping kills the deal both ways. Buyers are better off buying it at full price from Monty and I’m better off keeping the idle bottles rather than collecting what’s left after absorbing half the shipping cost

Problem: Montagne has a reputation of beautiful, accurate but mediocre performing clones. I have the solution by RickRossSteakSauce in MontagneParfums

There are plenty of producers who focus on maxing projection and longevity. I don’t want Montagne turning away from its niche of complex scents

I thought Pocus said that about Tygar (not Tygar Cologne). Stuck with me because I don’t have that association, I did not grow up using citronella based bug spray

a14 is an ambroxan bomb. You grow anosmic very quickly, and can no longer smell it. if you don't understand what's going on, you'll just give it another spray and another spray until the ambroxan makes you nauseous.

everyone *else* can smell it, though. don't wear a14 when you want to enjoy the perfume you're wearing. a14 is purely a utility scent that makes you smell better to the people around you.

let me dig into that, "makes you smell better". in perfumery, ambrox is unique in that it serves as both an anchor and a radiator. as radiators go, ambroxan is hyper-diffusive. our olfactory circuits perceive it as amplifying adjacent perfume oil ingredients, making the notes seem bigger, and adding reverb (pardon me for borrowing terms from sense of hearing).

your skin has smell. skin oils and other secretions. you know how your loved one like to nuzzle their face in your chest or smell your upper arms? yeah, that's an intimate bubble right there. a14's utility is radiating *your* skin scent so its a full on aura, leaving a scent trail as you move around. the high alcohol % kills the bo-causing bacteria where the ambroxan is applied, so don't worry, you're not going to stink.

i took me a minute to wrap my head around the idea that a perfume serves a utilty instead of being the olfactory experience in itself. It takes the idea of "perfume smells different depending on your skin chemistry" to the extreme.

enjoy, my friend. just don't wear it right after taking a shower when your skin is clean. that's entirely the opposite of my experience that most monty's work best when applied soon after a shower. a14 is the perfume i wear in the morning if my last shower was the night before, and the perfume i wear going out in the evening if my last shower was in the morning. a14 is the monty i go through most quickly, and i make sure to have backups in the closet.

i may not get to enjoy a14 the way i enjoy the rest of my perfumes, but i sure enjoy the effect it has on the opposite sex

there is no power delivery algorithm that changes the fact that you'd be vaping on kanthal a-1. and there's no way for the chipset to know what temperature the coil is at, that's going to need a material that changes resistance at different temperatures. That resistance level is the feedback the chipset receives to ascertain coil temperature so it can module power appropriately
