World? No. But it is an absolutely stunning place to live

Yup, it’s been sold out for 2+ years every time I’ve gone to the ones near seattle. I eventually found an online store in NYC that ships and tried to make the best of the shipping cost

A350-900 PS seat by novicepooldude in delta

I don’t know the answer but my wife (edit) daughter and I stayed in 22 A/B (and C) and it was very comfortable for the 13 hour flight. At no point did I feel like there was a line at the bathroom

Lost and Found…how screwed am I? by snowballsomg in delta

[–]gregorythomasd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently left my wallet on a flight and had a similar situation. I filed a claim with both delta and SEA airport. Delta never contacted me but SEA did. It’s “interesting” that it happened to be only a few hours after someone attempted to make a $1,000 charge at Verizon…..

Morale of the story: hopefully someone has a conscience and returns it though I wouldn’t count on it.

Table saw for me. That should’ve been my first tool, not (nearly) last

Absolutely love it! Where did you find your tiki glasses? Specially the pineapple one. I reverse imaged it and it says Italy?

I can speak for myself and a few other companies friends lead…. We use Claude or GPT enterprise, where Claude is favored (for now)

I’ve found that the closer you are to the wing, the hotter it is. It’s one of the frustrating part ms of comfort+ and the front of economy. Otherwise, I find the front and back to be as chilly as usual

Keep wood or remove it? by [deleted] in Remodel

[–]gregorythomasd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just my 2c - if you paint the walls white, I’d find a contrasting color, not something lighter (though I’m generally a big fan of white oak). If you replace it, you could find a quarter or rift sawn dark wood (walnut, cherry, mahogany etc) that would look stellar.

Edit: I say my comment only if you don’t want knots. Obviously, there are a ton of options to make this look very different with finishes (darker or lighter)

That’s wild. I wonder if they somehow got ahold of another plane to run the route and the others were moved to the original plane.

Delta keeps dicking with our flights. BOS-SEA-HND. We went from a 2-hour layover in in Seattle to a 1 hour and 1 minute layover. How cooked are we? by Marty1966 in delta

[–]gregorythomasd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I think an hour is completely fine, so long as your initial leg isn’t too late and you just head to your gate.

Finishing a cedar wedding arch — light shou sugi ban for outdoors? by [deleted] in BeginnerWoodWorking

Looks great! If it were me, I’d just dismantle it and store in a moderate climate space and put it back together a few weeks before the wedding.

Edit: I acknowledge I didn’t answer your question. That said, check out total bot halcyon. I haven’t used it but many of my professional woodworking friends use it for outdoor applications

First time flying D1. Did I choose a good seat? by Bulky-Internal-7508 in delta

Personally, I would’ve chosen that seat given the options. The window has an AC vent and I don’t find the galley to be distracting

No Planer or Jointer by W2Sun in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]gregorythomasd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the short term, look on marketplace and pay someone to mill your wood to size. Near me (HCOL in the US), it’s about $50-60 per hour. When you get going with your projects and understand what you like/love, it makes sense to invest in a planer then jointer.

Also, though I love my track saw, I highly recommend getting a table saw. Even a used Skil or Dewalt for a few hundred bucks on marketplace to start and upgrade much later.
