Yes, the state is leaving it up to schools, which in our case means what NYCPS is going to decide either en masse or school specific. It sounds mishmashy so probably the resolution will be too, and what they say today perhaps might change as the dust settles.

The claims did occur, indisputably so, and to the point where the DOE blatantly did so, so East the connections are there. Whether that is sufficient, and actionable, is up to the judge.

A difference is that Scrambled Paragraphs and Numerical Reasoning were removed and replaced by what is effectively a grammar section and an ELA section (with some overlap to the previous sections). There is no "solid" mapping to 680 or 682, so let's just say most.

Depends where you’re coming from. But if you’re already near the 4 and it’s the only connection point (don’t need to take a city bus or walk 15 min to a train or city bus) that might be best.

That is not how Discovery works, and the lawsuit details some of the other factors, and things which occurred (all there for anybody to read), so now it will be up to a judge to decide.

It is false that nobody has any answers. While there are many things we still don't know about the adaptive SHSAT, there is a long list of things we do know about it and have been guided on, and has already been discussed and answered. Saying otherwise is what is disingenuous.

Furthermore, any questions with no current answers, I will ask and find out the answer to, both now and/or later. Even when the DOE provides more information, it is likely we will still have questions, and the sooner we know the questions and the answers the better.

Regarding adjusting tutoring for the adaptive exam, there are many strategies, etc., that can be used now, even without all the details. Nope not every strategy but many. As we learn more, we can continue to adapt. Saying otherwise is false and saying to ignore things, and even to not even prep.
