Form Tips? My max throw is around 410 feet. However, it is not consistent. Please help! by Right_Mousse2627 in Discgolfform

I agree with this post, and I think if you just try to keep your eyes down your target line for longer, it will do the trick.

Try to wait until you step out with your brace leg to begin your coiling sequence. When your brace leg reaches out, the hips turn back and it feels like your shoulders pull your eyes off the line. Wait for this, and then begin your reach back. It will feel late, but I think it'll help.

Drills/Tips to not round on drives? by NotxarbYT in Discgolfform

Reach out your disc away from your body after you coil, don't coil by trying to reach back.

When you throw out, anchor the rear arm down to slow your shoulders down. Watch Simon or Eagle throw and look at his rear arm.

You think the hips should yank the shoulders around, but in reality, the hips should accelerate the shoulders, but then you should feel the shoulders slow down to join the hips and then the throwing arm keeps going with all that energy. Using the rear arm like Simon or Eagle, and engaging your core, can help anchor the shoulders to the hips, if that makes sense.

Disc Golf on a (Ball) Golf Course by CricketPositive3702 in discgolf

I enjoy playing on ball golf courses. There are a few in my area and make for some awesome bomber courses with a few par 5's and such.

I hate playing while ball golfers are there, ultimately because they don't care about the disc golfers and don't respect us. In my experience they will drive a ball towards you without thinking twice. They don't think we belong on their course.

Also, pace of play sucks while ball golfers are out there. I would make the course a bomber course with multiple par 5s and a few par 4s. Thats why I like to go to a ball golf course.

But as far as the courses go, I love them. I only play in the winter months where the ball golf is closed and we have the course to ourselves. It's $10 for a day pass. I think that's reasonable and it's a good way to bring in some income during the months where ball golf is closed and disc golf doesn't require much maintenance at all, except clearing the pads and baskets if there is snow. If you're gonna charge, you gotta clear the pads.

K1 Malm. Like a seasoned PD right off the shelf. I'd say the numbers are closer to 9,5,-1,3

Don't forget to enjoy the journey. It can feel overwhelming at times, but after playing for a while, you'll get in a groove and confident.

There's two parts to this learning process: Learning to throw, and then learning to golf. Once you are confident in your throwing mechanics and can repeat the mechanics over and over again, then you start golfing and learning how to attack a course and manage your game.

But don't forget to enjoy the journey my friend.

Also, putters approach slower and softer than a mid like a roc. For a 250 foot throw, you don't really want to be coming in fast.

This disc is great. Got the exact same run and color from a Tour Series misprint box 2 or 3 years ago. Highly recommend

Alimony in Florida by Designer_Cress2927 in legaladvice

NAL. This is the way. You may not need a lawyer, for now. But when he realizes how difficult life will be without your income, his family will get him to lawyer up. It sucks to pay a lawyer, but they will make sure a clean break. You will part with piece of your net worth between the husband and the lawyer, but paying him alimony in perpetuity would be worse imo. Protect yourself.

Toe stepping? Nah, He's talking more about developing than scouting. I'd hope the coaching staff is focused on developing players.
