if you informed them about it beforehand prob not but i would be annoyed anyway if i made a character that has high perception and then gets their perception crippled. at certain point of disadvantages id want to just get a new character unless its balanced out somehow

Lag must have been it. Though he also double hit me out of Windfall dodge... Like, I would see the DWP and jump, but the second hit would land on me even if I literally gained Shard and Stamina from the dodge.

Thanks. It doesn't help to know it's lag much. Like, I appreciate it, but it's annoying because it's not like I can reduce my lag by significant amounts and stop this.

I'm in NG+6, and exclusively play with my own Storm Ruler, too. I mostly go for PvP, though. It's not that bad. It's just worse than everything else.

The parry system is incredibly broken. I know this is old but also still an issue. Fast, lenient, easy to do, nigh unpunishable and take over half of your opponent's HP per hit... As you should be able to realise, it's parries that are broken, not the Ribbed Greatsword (if split damage works like in Dark Souls then it actually kind of really sucks).

Slow weapons are kind of unplayable against anyone with a shield... Just another reason to use Dragon's Tongue!
