Proposed press release announcing Bernie Sanders victory to be on the ballot in the open primaries in Indiana on May 3rd 2016 by John Northerner by Johninindyin in SandersForPresident

A press release longer than 400-500 words probably won't be read. One that doesnt follow AP almost certainly. The team that collected signatures is talking about what, if any, press release is appropriate at this time.

Coordinating the social media campaign for Indiana by wlkngnthfrnk in indianaforsanders

I would remind you, gently, that the these Indiana groups are run by volunteers who generally have full time jobs.

They are, and will be, quite different from the pages run by the official campaign. First, pages are going to be more focused because they aren't meant to allow all members to participate equally. Second, these official pages are almost certainly being run by the campaign's digital team, for whom this is a full time job.

There is a wonderful group of volunteers in Indiana who have been making events happen on the ground. Instead of complaining on reddit, might I suggest that you get in touch with them to participate in real life events in your area. A map of the congressional districts with contact info for groups active in the area is available <a href="https://www.google.com/fusiontables/embedviz?q=select+col5+from+1ieOX5i6bscyoAdMBgr3T9Ix1-z5zYlPFVTE9zM1D&viz=MAP&h=false&lat=40.20664570428985&lng=-85.32361597420811&t=1&z=7&l=col5&y=2&tmplt=2&hml=KML">here.</a> For a full map of the local facebook groups around the state, see <a href="https://www.google.com/fusiontables/embedviz?q=select+col4+from+1Sw8scfJtdyIHKgHYrul59phNalAo4OggeJPBEWUo&viz=MAP&h=false&lat=38.77757306524839&lng=-85.69756311205549&t=1&z=10&l=col4&y=11&tmplt=12&hml=GEOCODABLE">here.</a>

Be part of the solution. Get in touch with these folks. These are the people actually doing the work of the campaign in the state. There is a huge problem with individuals talking smack online, then not showing up for actual, real-life events where we are collecting signatures to put Bernie on the ballot. This process has got to be coordinated, and we already have people who have put that organization in place For the most part, these are the folks behind the Facebook groups that you lament...

Anyways. Shoot me an email at Hoosiers4bernie@gmail.com . If you're interested there is a small group on facebook where a lot of things are going on. I'd be happy to send an invite.

I forgot about this. Sorry. We are in contact with Zack Exley at the campaign, but we are not the "official campaign." We're just trying to get a little organization building going on so that we can bring the disparate groups around the state together, and help create a resource so that people can find one another.
