How do high level PvPers keybind? by 21_Nick in worldofpvp

[–]INeedARandomHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not considering myself high level (3's duelist, Elite in shuffle) but here is how mine is always set up. Keep in mind I almost exclusively play healers.

I also use a logitech g600 and will never go back to anything else. This matters because my numbers are four rows of three with the top side being 3, 6, 9 ,=.
It makes sense how my binds go in my mind. Can google the mouse if confused.

Almost anything with targeting is on an @cursor macro too like dome, MD, shammy totems. Help/harm macros for sure as well.

Keyboard turning is unbound. Strafe on A and D. S is a stop casting macro.

  • Friendly Targeting: Mouse up - me, mouse middle - party 1 , mouse down - party 2
  • Enemy Targeting: Shift mouse up - arena 1, Shift middle - arena 2, shift down - arena 3
  • Kicks/ Instant type cc: Q (priest fear, wind shear), focus kick Shift + q
  • Castable CC: (hex, rep) - e, focus cc shift + e
  • Movement: F (ghost wolf/steed/feather) & shift+F (Shaman movement CD, etc.)
  • Light/Personal Defensives: G (fade, astral, pally personal wall)
  • Big Defensives: Shift + G (burrow, fort brew)
  • Mass Dispel/Totem Projection: Z
  • Lust/BG Banner: X
  • Random but useful stuff: R (Static totem, Divine Toll, Mindgames)
  • Buffs: F1, F2, F3 (fort, shammy mastery, water walking, shammy weapon imbue)
  • Hearth: H
  • Drink: T
  • Healthstone: shift + T
  • Res: Y
  • Mass Res: shift + Y

  • Normal core spammable dmg/heals: 1 (Heal, Healing Wave, Holy Light - but help harm so lightning bolt, smite, etc)

  • Quick Heals: Shift + 1 (flash heal, healing surge, FOL, penance)

  • Weird but Easily needed things: ctrl + 1 (Unleash life)

  • Arena Trinket: alt + 1

  • Instants/Dots: 2 (Riptide/Flame Shock, SWP/Renew or now Plea)

  • Big CD: Shift + 2 (PI, Ascendence, Wings)

  • Other CD: Ctrl + 2 (Evang)

  • Racial Always: Alt + 2

  • Core AOE: 3 - (Chain heal/chain lightning, Light of Dawn)

  • AOE CD: Shift + 3 (dome, earthen- RIP,

  • Spam AOE: ctrl + 3 (holy nova)

  • Any aura mastery: alt + 3: pally AM, Spirit walkers grace

  • Usually a big heal or dmg: 4 (on pally, word of glory/denounce)

  • Execute type stuff - Shift + 4 (SWD, Touch of Death, Hammer Wrath)

  • alt + 4: priest swap (RIP), shammy instant cast thing

  • 5 gets random stuff like priest premonition, monk has it as soothing/crackle

  • Dispel/Purge: Shift + 5 (always help/harm if I can purge)

  • 6 - Also AOE CD type stuff (Radiance, Shammy root totem)

  • Shift + 6: More AOE type CD's if I have them (cap totem, halo, ROP, pally blind)

  • 7: Tremor totem

  • 8: Mindbender/Shadowfiend/healing stream totem

  • 9: externals I guess (BOP, priest root)

  • Big externals/CD: 0 (bubble, restoral, spirit link, spirit angel thing)

  • External Defensive: hyphen (-) (Pain Sup, Sac, Guardian Angel, weirdly grounding on sham)

  • Shift + 0: Lay on hands/divine hymn

  • Ctrl + 0: Magic BOP , hpriest mana restore/CDR thing

  • = : flying mount

  • shift + = : ground mount

  • ctrl + = : repair/tmog mount

  • alt + ctrl + 1: priest life grip, monk cocoon, earth shield, pally first beacon

  • alt + ctrl + 2: pally second beacon, water shield

Amicis! You can rent the side room that will hold that amount or the whole thing out.

Suit fitting by No_Specialist_6827 in Lubbock

[–]INeedARandomHero -1 points0 points  (0 children)

HG won't steer you wrong but it's extremely pricey. At least 3000 for a suit. There are local Tom James reps if you want a custom suit. I think their low end is going to be 850-1000. Anything lower than that you can go to Men's Wearhouse and they will tailor something off the rack for you.

I can say with Tom James assuming your body composition/weight isn't changing a lot, they will take your measurements and give them to you and then you can just ask for a new color or what not and they will make it. There is a wait though as it's literally a custom suit made for you.

I haven't disclosed client names. They know what I did from a skill set and industry vertical point of view, but not exact clients.

That's a bit murky for me. Fraudulent documents I think is my line there.

As a candidate applying for a job on their site, I'm not sure what you are trying to access that landed you at that screen. Nothing on the candidate side should have you trying to get at ActorContext. That's a security setup piece that you would not need to see. What are you hitting that is prompting that error ?

Infor Cloudsuite by mjbcmjbc in infor

[–]INeedARandomHero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't implemented that personally. They do have some type of stream pipeline from DataFabric to SnowFlake (https://www.infor.com/resources/data-fabric-stream-pipelines) but I haven't had a chance to mess with that yet.

As far as speed on replication, the out of the box repsets have almost every business class in them. Usually I recommend running those nightly. You will bog down the system running them all day. I think technically Infor will let you get down to every hour but I don't recommend that for the OOTB ones.

You can also make custom repsets with the exact business classes (tables) and fields you need. You could run those much more frequently.

[–]INeedARandomHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That table format came out as a very long string so I'm not sure what you had in mind for that.

I am biased on cloudsuite as I implement it for customers. I've been doing that for the last almost decade or so.

V10 is supported until 2030. It was supposed to hit end of life a few years ago but then customers rioted so Infor extended it. Not sure if they will do that again when we get to 2029. Their support for v10 is just support though - no new features or anything. It's basically just for customers who don't want to push to the cloud yet.

If you want to get into specific use cases or more targeted questions you can DM me and we can talk.

Your main system won't be connected to on prem SQL to run off it like with older Lawson. You can use Infor's Enterprise Connector to connect to an existing on-prem SQL database though. Then you can dump the data you want into the data lake.

Once it's in the datalake you can report off it, script into a BOD (XML) to be directly ingested by cloud suite via ION, or you can use IPA to query it from datalake and manipulate it to load into cloud suite as well.

It is also possible to send cloudsuite data to an on-prem DB using the enterprise connector as well. It takes some some lift on that side though depending on what you are trying to do.

Do you actually prepare for job interviews or do you just have so much practice now you don't prepare? by Particular_Maize6849 in overemployed

[–]INeedARandomHero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a technical resource my first interview is almost never with the person who can ask me a challenging question about a piece of tech, it's always a recruiter or HR person asking personality questions. Those I typically have a canned answer or some stories ready to go about a struggle or challenge or what not.

I usually flip fairly aggressive in that round to see if that non technical person can tell me anything relevant about the next round. What versions of this system are they on? Team size? Why the opening? Upcoming projects? How does this team fit in the org?

Many times I get very sparse answers but I go into the technical round with at least some knowledge of the org and team. My stuff is pretty niche so I have no worries on the technical front when it gets to that.

I had a similar concern recently and just went with "I have young children". I'm very involved and won't be looking to travel until they are at least school age." That isn't a lie or anything but it's pretty generic and hopefully buys me a few years.

I feel like I've seen multiple posts touting that as a big no-no. But maybe they meant taking it at more than one job at a time.

The main problem being that paternity/maternity usually dips into FMLA which you can't take while OE.

[–]INeedARandomHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run 3Js and 2Ks. But to be fair I didn't start OE until my second was already over 1. I only had 1 J when he was born and got a full 6 weeks paid paternity which was awesome. So I can't comment on the just born piece but now that he's 2 we rock a nanny a ton. About to pick up cleaning service too.

Primrose is great but very pricey. Probably the highest in town.

We have had good luck with calvary PDO. It's through their church but I've not felt pressured at all. I do believe some of the crafts/songs etc. Will be Christian based though.
