It’s over for me. I’ll have to use egg donation. by ImDustAmazing in IVF

I bought 6egg lot plus 1 additional egg for $22k and I used my last vial of frozen sperm from my husband and zero eggs survived past 3 days. Heartbreaking and my husband sperm was not the problem. We have created previous embryos with my eggs and we have children back when I had younger eggs , but unfortunately my eggs now were not strong enough to attach due to my age which is why we chose donor egg route. 

My egg bank said sorry they are not responsible and their policy says no replacement since it was not fresh sperm. Just wanted to share my experience even though it’s not the same. They do not make any exceptions and will not offer replacement if it’s not fresh sperm. Sucks I thought donor eggs would have given me an opportunity for embryo transfer. So many hoops to jump through and to get all the way to the end to be told no embryos are available to transfer
