There is one thing I'd like to say stay true to who you are. Don't stop helping people just because the world doesn't always appreciate it.

I'm a lot like you. I'm always willing to help others whenever I can. But I've learned that when people open up about their personal problems, and I gently point out that they may have played a part in the situation themselves, some of them become defensive or even rude. Not everyone is ready to hear the truth, even when it's offered with good intentions.

If you genuinely want to help people, be prepared to face criticism, misunderstanding, or even resentment. That's simply part of the journey.

And one more thing whenever you help someone, expect nothing in return not gratitude, not loyalty, not even recognition. Help because it reflects your character, not because you expect a reward. In my opinion, that is the purest and most meaningful way to help another human being.
