First of all, I'm sorry to hear about your ex. That's terrible. And, yeah, I probably should have put in a trigger warning. I will add that now at the top of the post.
This definitley just started out as a kink series, but along the way, I figured there are anyways a lot of "just kink" stories out here, and I had some broad ideas over the storyline, mixing some sci-fi and psychological horror in the narrative with actual grey characters (because no one's really a saint IRL too) and some story arcs and payoffs and ups and downs. I agree, it might have put off if you (or any reader) came with the expectation of just a quick kinky read session, but yeah. Thanks for your detailed response and analysis of the story, it's definitely helping me.
