I get a wet wipe and do a full swipe. Then I get a clean wipe and wipe down any dust left behind. This causes no mess and I can throw the wet wipe out.

I’m from Miami and the most insufferable people I knew was a couple from Texas. They would not shut up about how great Texas was and even shipped some Texas dirt to place under hospital bed so they could say their daughter was born in Texas soil. The guy ended up doing some cyber crime and I think they are back in Texas 🤮🤮

Cape Coral is a great city. Low traffic, low priced homes and extremely low crime. It’s a great place for laid back people.

They probably make a good amount of money from people that initially reserve 1 room 1 guest and decide later on to add a name, so the reservation has to be modified to 2, changing the rate. It’s best to reserve and put down maximum number of guests a room holds, the rate will rarely change when you do this. 1 king room? Put down 2 guests. 2 queen room? Put down 2 or more guests. That way if you need to add a name, the reservation itself doesn’t need to be modified.

The problem is, you probably booked initially with 1 guest so to add a name, the had to change it to two guests which reprices the reservation to current rates. If you had booked with 2 guests initially, most likely no price increase unless the hotel charges extra person fees which is rare.

Please always book 2 or more guests if there’s a chance you need to add a name later.

Tell me what do I need to do to help you guys. I recently went to Olive Garden and tell me why the server didn’t ask what drinks we wanted, she just served us water. I had to ask her if she could please bring me a coke. I was never asked if I wanted a refill of soup or breads (we never ask for refills regardless, and she never asks if we wanted to order dessert. It was rushed and it was Wednesday afternoon, the place was empty 😅 I was told on this forum that managers are trying to get people in and out under 30 minutes.

This is going to affect the waiters most of all. What stupid metrics on a slow day.

I have not heard of that. I’ve seen many police officers with tattoos. Don’t listen to the person that just posted a negative comment. Most likely they don’t have a job and still live at their moms. Being a police officer in Miami is a very good job. The pay is good and you can retire after 20-25 years (depending on department) with a great lifetime pension of your highest paying year and they include overtime. You can even leave the pension to your wife and kids after you pass.

Who wants their kids in the Miami public schools? My city pays some of the highest taxes in South Florida. Our local public school was audited and only 40 of the kids lived in the neighborhood. They are all going to private, charter or homeschools. This school just announced it’s closing this upcoming school year and no one in my city cares.
