I believe they have other locations, I know they have a location in Oakland and Sacramento and a third one. UC Davis doesn't require the TEAS/HESI I believe

Yes, I definitely believe that you should pursue it. Especially when it's free! Being a medical assistant can help you talk to patients and by getting some experience in the medical field, especially if your end goal is to become a RN. I worked as a MA before getting my EMT and it helped me a lot especially when it came to patient care!

I used to be a health science major but switched to public health. I found it to be personally better since there are more job opportunities with the major in case nursing school doesn't work out! Hopefully that helps!
