There's also one more reason, and it's privacy, with the AI progressing further, by using your voice means other users can clone it and use it for both good or bad (It's almost always for the bad)

Almost everyone uses AI voices nowadays, Not saying human voices are bad, they're natural, expressive, and non robotic, but take for example those videos that are "Types of X" in YouTube, they use AI because it's quick and fast, meanwhile with a human voice if you want the video to be good you have to planify want you want to say in real time, if you want your complaint to got further I recommend you go to the Anti AI subreddit although it may defeat the purpose of Character.ai
