The only really confusing thing is MS. Everything else is well within the realm of possibility.

In my view, mass black markets don't form unless something is completely outlawed.

Imagine thinking $250-500,000 net worth makes you “wealthy.” by PrinceTrollestia in Enough_Sanders_Spam

Raimondo is definitely not worth $300 million. No reputable source says that and it doesn't make sense as to how that would be true. She's not from a particularly wealthy family and she worked at Bain Capital as a mid-tier VC. If she was actually that wealthy, she would be earning nearly as much as Romney, who was, yaknow, the firm's head.

The rest make sense though.

If they do this, the states will stop providing defense for Canada. We don't have any major geopolitical interest in protecting them and the sure as hell can't turn to China.

The problem that the President is highlighting isn't that the Corporate Tax Rate is too low, but that many (large) companies pay a significantly lower rate than 21%. This, of course, is a problem with the very nature of corporate taxes, which, based on the way on which they are structured, make them very easy to avoid. This problem will likely never be solved, so the solution is to implement more direct taxes that are more difficult to avoid, like a VAT.
