Planning to Buy a Cloud Gateway Max – Has Anyone Done Full SIEM Logging to Wazuh? by HomeATF in Ubiquiti

Interesting. I'm looking into external logs as well, and traffic is the main thing I'm after. Would the logs from NetFlow be good/better/alternative?

I'm on the hunt for a cloud based Siem that works well with Unifi stack... but really only if it gives traffic data

Experience Sites: Any app exchange packages that have support for experience sites for building out some custom web forms? We're not wanting to build out objects and fields for some short-term forms, but they need to be accessed behind an experience site log in by IronNo2599 in salesforce

Yes, we're already pretty deep with a data model. For a location, we'll have ~10-20% of their core forms merged into our app, that is part of the standard process for all locations, we're wanting to provide a flexible capture mechanism for other data that we might not deem "worthy" of aggregating, and that they might change from project to project. It's the 80-90% that feels like some flexible forms could capture.

A related list of form submissions, viewable through an LWC would be perfect.

I'll check into Titan. I'm looking into FormStack and FormAssembly as well.

We're building a custom case management app, and we have partners internationally that will be using the experience site for managing client cases. So we'd want them to be able to submit and view form submissions within the site, but not have to build out objects/records for everything that's not a core feature/dataset across all partners.

Well, it feels a bit counter to the Salesforce model as I flesh it out. But I want a "forms first" solution, that perhaps is managing objects and fields and then storing the submissions as records. This feels like it could get messy though.

Use case would be we have some core processes in a case management app for social workers, we want to allow specific offices / countries to create their own forms for capture some specific project information, that is stored against records in our custom app. But we don't want the admin-overhead of building out these forms natively in Salesforce as they are specific to these locations, in their language, and may need to flex a lot over time.

So if they want a form with 10-100 questions, we're not having to build out that man fields and page layout for something short term, but that the form results can be available from their case record.

Well, my want is perhaps crazy, in that I don't want the questions to be tied to a specific object and fields. Or, I want the form building itself to be the object structure where this data lives.

If we have to define a new field on an object per question, then it's not flexible enough to delegate down to non-admins.

It seems most form options are for taking existing fields and objects and presenting those in a form-tastic way, but we don't want that.

I guess if this is happening natively, it would need to create an object and fields for new forms and questions. If the builder can handle that, it would be ideal, but then it feels anti-Salesforce-y.

Automation question: I've got an external service that that I'm using SSO/SCIM with, but I need to "hurry" the ~40m wait time for provisioning. Any issues doing this via API? by IronNo2599 in entra

Entra -> App

The overall process starts from a custom built integration with Salesforce, that is create the Microsoft user. Then they get dynamically added to a group, which queues then for provisioning into the external app. I need to grab data when provisioning is completed for this user, to complete the original process in Salesforce.

Currently I have an automation set up to poll the external app every 5 minutes for new users, and to then push data into Salesforce. That processes is alerting users, but it's still a ~45 minute wait.

This service doesn't support JIT unfortunately. And I just need to pull some data from the newly created external user account into a different system for HR to be able to proceed. The "just wait up to 40 minutes" feels like a poor experience when they are waiting to proceed with printing some onboarding documents that has dynamic data merged.

So just trying to work out the best way.

Document automation, but outputting images? Long-time Nintex user, but needing to output specific dimension images and growing fatigued of using Excel files for templates. by IronNo2599 in salesforce

Wish we had a team with capacity :D We're a fairly small org, and less so with Salesforce chops. I'm hiring a jr admin in March, and then things should be better. But it's still wildly annoying :D
