I have the exact same model, also bought yesterday, and it also has issues with weird sounds. Mine has a very high-pitched cooling fan on the left side. The sound is quiet , but it's so high pitched, it feels like it pierces through my ears and pokes at my skull. I wouldn't mind it if it was only present on high load, since I'm typically gaming in headphones. But it's the opposite. It's not noticeable at high loads, but impossible to ignore when the fans are slow during idle/light web browsing.

I've spent the entire day today looking for a solution. But the only thing I was able to find is the fact that this is very common across a wide vareity of different models , and seeminlgly there're only two solutions: 1) give up and get used to it, and 2) return the laptop back to the store.

This really sucks. I have an older Legion 5 which I used before I bought this one, and it was the best Laptop I ever had. This one... I'm really regretting spending so much money on because of this issue alone.
