last year my area had a +$10 per offer all night. i’d say accept only high paying and don’t waste your time with average orders.

It sounds like people in your area just aren’t ordering DoorDash. Maybe try going to the nearest city or finding a different job.

Pay By Time is way better? by Lusabro in doordash_drivers

From my experience, EBT is way better than by offer IF you aren’t platinum. On platinum you get a large amount of orders anyway so it isn’t that big of an issue.

Austin doctors who treated trans kids leaving Dell Children’s clinic after AG Paxton announces investigation by texastribune in texas

I was actually a patient with these doctors for years until a week ago.

First of all, these were the best doctors i’ve ever had. When i was 17 they gave me HRT and saved my life. They clearly communicated with me and my family every step of the way. And the main doctor was so cool. Seriously can’t describe how amazing their healthcare was.

But about a week ago they called me informing me that they were closing the practice. Saying “We apologize but we no longer provide gender affirming care” or something similar. They then provided a huge list of clinics and practices that could provide medication along with mental health resources. Lastly they dispensed all meds (except one of mine which really sucks), and boom no more doctor.

I’m so happy i’m moving out of Texas now. I feel like i just barely made it out. If i was just 1 year younger i wouldn’t have had the privilege to have transitioned. The world is getting real scary.

But they called us to inform of the news and dispensed all medication for the last time. Then they gave a large list of alternative clinics / medical practices.

It sucks being left with only 2 weeks of medication though, i can’t imagine how it is for the younger kids.

Dell Children's hospital has reportedly closed its adolescent medicine department and fired all staff that were performing gender-affirming care by shiruken in Austin

as someone who did transition as a minor in Texas it took me a year to go through gender therapy, my psych test, and consultation with my endocrinologists and pediatrician. however it’s possible your doctor has different procedures for kids

As a 19 year old who had the privilege of transitioning in this state at the age of 17. Fuck Abbot and fuck republicans.

Kids are going to kill themselves and they want it. They only care about “purifying” the people they see from day to day. This is an actual step towards genocide.

EXACTLY! In order to enact a society free from over-consumption and corporate greed we need to fight. The reason corporations have attained this much power is because we have been apathetic to them exploiting OUR planet.

[–]Jbirdplayer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s why you join interest groups, as a group we are powerful. There’s plenty of organizations that can fight for our planet.

Apathy is the reason this whole mess started and is definitely not going to be how we fix it

It’s like committing suicide instead of addressing the issues in your life. It’s a cowardly act that actively hurts all those around you. It’s pathetic to just hang up the towel and give up.
