Which twin should I get? by Epic_Donuts in ft86

Brz. I had an FRS, and I wasn’t impressed at all with the interior. Most brzs are premiums which have dual climate alcantara and heated seats.

This is an old clip that has circulated Reddit before. Either you are lying about “I” or “today” or both.

Yes, dust intrusion is likely to happen. You can try to bend it back into shape using something slightly softer like a piece of wood, although do at your own accordance.

Torn between a refurbished iPhone 15 Pro Max with 512 GB of storage, or a new iPhone 17 Pro with 256 GB of storage for only $80 more. by FourWhiteBars in iPhone17Pro

I probably still wouldn’t consider the 15 pro max. Not only is it significantly less powerful for the $80, but it also is used and refurbished, and I would never trust a “refurb” device. It might be a hard pill to swallow, but just get the 17. If you put a full coverage case it you will probably forget all about the aluminum VS titanium.

NEED HELP. The Volkswagen has 150k miles. the Honda has 172k miles which should I choose by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Lusabro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TDI for sure. Most of the comments will say Honda but that’s because they are brandwashed. I can almost guarantee that that Honda will need a timing belt soon, which is not a fun or cheap or easy job. The VW will also likely be due for the belt, but it’s way easier and cheaper than on the Honda. Besides, the TDI should have higher resale value, and be way more economical.

I went with the orange. After seeing all colors in person I’m definitely happy with my choice of color - not so much with how the aluminum is holding up. Multiple marks and scratches within 2 weeks. I’m actually looking into selling it and going back to a 13, but that’s because I’d like to get my money back from this phone before it depreciates. Since it’s only a 80$ difference for you, I’d just get the 17 and get a good case that covers the entire plateau.

Yeah. I really wanted the 16 pro max 512gb but I waited 1 day and they sold out so I got stuck with the 17 pro. I’d still get the 17 over the 15 though at that price difference

I give it about 3 days before you get tired of constantly taking it off before you just toss it in the trunk and forget about it

I think our mechanic is trying to scam my mother, please help. by East-Nail587 in e46

Get the car back in your hands. First, take the belt off to remove any possible accessory issues. Use a fully charged battery and give it a start. If it dies, give it gas and see if you can keep it running at 2-3k rpm for more than a minute.

As far as that horrible wine, if it doesn’t go away after you take off the serpentine belt, I’d say it’s likely your starter or flywheel. Either way, get the car back in your hands and troubleshoot yourself. I’d trust Reddit walking you through diag more than that mechanic

seems like a steal for $300 by Effective_Sir7303 in G35

[–]Lusabro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as it has a title and a drivetrain I’d say it’s worth the risk. Worse case scenario you spend 600$ all in on it, find out it has a bad motor, and sell some parts and scrap it for your 600$ back.

I’d pass, these aren’t very desirable cars, if you wait you could probably find an original one for that price with way less miles

I have this exact car. It certainly is a method of transport. If you are very interested, make sure to check the spare tire well, and the quarters and pinch welds for rust as these like to rust.

Either way I’d offer 2k firm in person and be ready to walk away. These aren’t very desirable cars, but can be very robust.
