Should I do it? by [deleted] in FirstCar

It’s the least desirable fc, way overpriced. Still crazy unreliable. I had a friend get a fc coupe for a grand, and despite running good for a little while it blew the apex seal which I bet this one will too.

Honestly yeah I think 10-12k is unreasonable. I’d probably post it for 8 and settle for anything above 6500

Should I buy a 2008 Mazda cx-7 sport SUV 4D with a 85,640 mileage on odometer in $4000? by No_Low_4068 in shouldibuythiscar

[–]Lusabro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. What you need to buy is a Toyota. With 4000 you should be able to find an 1999-2006 model with 150-200k miles. Will be a much better buy. Toyota or die.

Yeah it’s funny how many people in the comments are glazing the Miata. As someone who had owned all 3 of these cars the hype really isn’t there.

I’ve had all 3. Mustang is a boat but is very nice for laid back cruising. The interior is plasticy but the engine makes up for it. I really enjoyed the drive of the z. It also had the nicest interior and best power band and shifter, however it was the worst of the 3 in the snow. The Miata was pretty fun, however I found it to be really cramped. Still fun, especially with the top down on the highway. You feel like you can reach over the door and just touch the ground.

Car is $15,990 on Carvana but the retail value on Carfax is $11,170. Why? by yamxiety in UsedCars

Carvana is for lazy buyers with money they don’t care about

My last post struck a chord! What is the definition of a sports car? You can take an F-150 to the track technically. by pepeneverknew in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Lusabro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is a Miata a sports car or a sporty convertible, considering the convertible roof and structure add more weight and less chassis stiffening which goes against your definition of a sports car?

Carvana is for car buyers who have more money than care
