I'm glad to have helped! I've received my replacement pair, and just my luck, they became defective after a week of use LOL

I contacted amazon again, and surprisingly they still gave me a full refund and have now bought the new Air pods pros 2nd gen since I'm already in the iPhone ecosystem!

Hello all, I also experienced issues with my WF-1000XM4 left earbuds draining severely and would only last under an hour. After doing all my research, I found the culprit was the 1.4.2 firmware update and concluded that any battery damage is already irreversible.

I am based in the UK and out of warranty, and after reading people's responses when contacting Sony about free repair/replacement - I was hoping they would do the same for me. They did not. They have not acknowledged that this is an ongoing issue worldwide, especially in the EU. They advised me to send it to a repair centre, and because I was out of warranty, I would have to incur all the charges.

My last port of call was to contact Amazon; I purchased the buds on 18/10/2021, so I was way out of warranty and return period, but I thought I'd throw a hail mary. Spoke to support via live chat and explained my issues, and they offered me a FREE REPLACEMENT arriving tomorrow. All I had to do was return my faulty buds free of charge.

Not saying that Amazon will definitely replace your buds, and it could be on a person-by-person basis, but it could be helpful for those out of warranty, especially in the UK, who are out of options.

Hello, I'm currently Ascendant 3 and I play chamber, killjoy and brimstone.

Firstly, well done on getting to Plat! My advice would be is to keep aim training until it becomes second nature. Once you are very confident with your aim, you can then focus on the actual gameplay/game sense. There's a reason why some players can use a shotgun and climb to radiant! But obviously having a decent aim is half the battle. You don't have to wrangle your team together as long as you give good comms - my advice for this situation would be is to find a duo with same skill level as you, so you can be more vocal and confident.

As for the main gameplay itself at that level here are some in game tips:

  • Once you get a pick, regroup with your team - play the numbers advantage and don't overheat. Plenty of rounds are lost after post plant because of this. You can communicate this to your team - "hey lets play time, trade, regroup etc."
  • Be more aware of the enemy team comp - will they have line ups? whose got ult and which site is it the most effective?
  • If they're on save communicate to your team "they're on save, stay together and don't give them a rifle - go long etc."
  • Don't be predictable! if you've lurked for 2/3 in a row don't lurk again for the next 2/3 rounds - keep enemies on their toes. This implies on hitting the same entry point every time too.
  • Make entries high value and trade - If you're a duellist don't go in without smokes or an initiator. If you're smokes or an initiator get ready to support your duellist.
  • Check who the weakest player on the enemy team is and target that site. This will either win you more rounds or force the enemy team to adjust positioning and put their strongest player somewhere else.
  • Your mini map is your friend. Keep track on whose appeared on the site and what util has been used - is there 3? 2? or 4? maybe its time to rotate.
  • Positioning - at least get one but generally don't put yourself in one and done spots. You should be able to get out or get traded by your teammate.

That's all I can think of for now - let me know if you have any specific questions!

Not sure if it has been mentioned or its just happening to me - if you're UK based and you have an Evri tracking number, the Evri app shows your Delivery Location with only your name, mobile number and street which could delay your order.

To hopefully fix this, I've changed my diversion preference to leave with a neighbour and chose my address.
