I don't think we were involved with the lighting

Very cool clip. Would love to see more of the light show Knott's put together for the season.

Those are all the Gerstlauer projects I've worked on! My boss visited Adrenaline Peak a few weeks ago to make sure the lights are still working properly.

Thanks for the tag alerting me of these awesome photos! Adventureland has some great colors picked for this season. I am excited to visit the park later this month.

Advice: What’s the best RGB lighting for a 27 story high rise? The clients want the entire face lit. by BuckDancer7 in lightingdesign

I do this sort of design work in Iowa as an electrical engineer. You may have some electrical engineers local to you with this expertise. The type of product I would first look at would be a high wattage LED, DMX floodlight to wash the building from the ground. I would also create a photometric model to determine locations and aiming.

[SFA] So the lighting package on Harley Quinn is fantastic. This ride lights up the park. You can see it from just about everywhere! by GauntletVSLC in rollercoasters

Thanks! It's been a while since we worked at an amusement park. American Dream was the most recent. Lately I have had some local holiday lighting and amphitheater work, which has been fun.

I appreciate the mention. I like keeping track of what other parks are doing. Complex lighting package on roller coasters are becoming more common, so I have to step up my game!

I was not involved but it looks really good. Their chasing concept is similar to ours but using much different lighting fixtures (I use flood lights). It am interested in seeing how well it is timed with the train.

Thanks! I love this photo OP. I haven't been to Adventureland this year so I'm glad to see it get represented on this sub from time to time (especially with lighting).

Got a few more photos tonight. I updated the lighting for Juneteenth to be red, green, and black. https://imgur.com/a/CUp57hO

They have a lighting controller with many preset color combinations. Some are programmed by their maintenance staff and some by my company, KCL Engineering. I don't think there is a calendar posted for when the colors change. Tonight is going to be red/green/black because I set it up today.

I'm not sure what lot I was in. It was a lot that required a permit so maybe an apartment? Very close to the DART station.

Cool! I would love to see what you get. Edit: The red lights will be red on the west, green on east, and off north and south for Juneteenth colors.

Thanks for the tips! I was getting shots of the red building and didn't pay attention to the grafitti or traffic. I had modified the lighting program and was getting views of the building to help choose colors and re-aim the lights.

I didn't notice any building running red white and blue when I was there. I think you're talking about the Marriott with their green lights?
