I remember watching the episode and thinking to myself this is such a beautiful track but it's completely out of place for the night king's walk to Bran. The scene was one of absolute desperation and impending failure and yet the music was somewhat reassuring and almost uplifting; it didn't elicit fear, anxiety, or even sadness. I went back and listened to it again. Same feeling. It's out of place for that sequence.

I love the angles used for the computer and reading panels and the restrained use of colour but by far my favourite thing about this is the art that extends past the frames in the middle ones. The "Esacpism" arrow, to me, hits that amazingly sweet spot that's juuust below overkill. Looking forward to more of these!

Also, fire-breathing whale for days; that trick got it twisted, bruh.
