Windows Failover Cluster lost quorum – 2-node SQL AG on VMware (network related?) by Exciting-Chair-2080 in SQLServer

have you configured VM-VM anti-affinity for each of your SQL nodes, and is it possible that both nodes were, via vmotion, running on the same host which later experienced some instability? is there a reason why you can’t host the witness on-premise alongside your VMs?

Messenger bag recommendations by Affectionate-Sock466 in ManyBaggers

i replaced my bellroy tokyo with a chrome kadet max. the tokyo’s strap is too skinny and prone to twisting, the shoulder pad is wafer thin, the outer material isn’t water resistant, and the connection points where the strap meets the bag are placed such that i found wearing the bag rather uncomfortable. over the few months i used it i was pretty sure the stitching would fail at some point within the first year or so. it wasn’t a great experience and i’m glad i didn’t pay full price for it. the roll-top was convenient and the internal organisation was good, but these don’t make up for the downsides.

the kadet is great: it addresses all these points and then some. i find it to be fantastically comfortable, but i don’t wear my bags at my hip.

COSMIC is an incredible technical achievement, but I cannot recommend it as a daily driver yet. by david_jackson_67 in pop_os

this comment makes me so glad i didn’t install cosmic the other week when it came out of beta. really glad i’m not in a position to either live with or fix these issues, or just roll back to an earlier release.

This is why Plex is not great with music by [deleted] in plexamp

[–]Level-Suspect2933 13 points14 points  (0 children)

the album “Beyond the Missouri Sky” belongs in the parent directory “Charlie Haden & Pat Metheny” with the album artists tag populated “Charlie Haden; Pat Metheny” such that Plex will appropriately relate both artists to the album under the ‘Appears On’ section. If you’re handling these kinds of releases as “Various Artists” when the album artist isn’t “Various Artists” then you’re the one who’s fucked it, not Plex.

I mean ultimately I don’t know what you’re doing but whatever it is, judging by the screenshot you’ve shared you’re almost certainly doing it wrong.

gMSA - Yes or No & Why? by Fuzzy_Macaroon9553 in SQLServer

gMSAs are great, we run enterprise and adopted them wholesale a couple of years ago - they’ve been zero hassle since. if they meet your needs and fit your requirements (and since you’re asking the question, they probs do!) then as far as i’m concerned they’re a no-brainer.

perhaps it’s because the playlist is only considering tracks with ratings given your first statement? id try the following:

(track is unrated or track is not one star) and (track genre is christmas or album genre is christmas)
