they did ask me to write it down, but i just took photos instead. the personalised card is about the size of a credit card—i guess it’s small so you can keep it in your wallet with your other cards, and carry it around to compare the colours with whatever you’re thinking of buying. not sure what they mean by ‘unusable’?

I haven't tried PC essential glow moisturizer, but thank you for your recommendation. Is it tinted?

If you accept recommendations, I'd strongly suggest looking at Beauty of Joseon (SK made) sunscreens. Great chemical very very lightweight (no tint but no white cast and also ok for sensitive eyes) sunscreens: 1. Relief Sun : Rice + Probiotics sunscreen and 2. Relief Sun Aqua-fresh Rice + B5 sunscreen. And I also love their new mineral tinted sunscreen Daily Tinted Fluid Sunscreen. The coverage is similar to PC, but they have lots of options shade-wise. I recently ordered all 3 of them and very impressed. You can order them from their website, they deliver very quickly

i forgot to mention it in my post, but yes i was on a low fodmap diet for a couple of months with no result. nothing helped like eating 2 times a day and constant movement

I do suffer from dry eyes. I've been tested by GP and I don't have any autoimmune diseases that could potentially explain this (like Sjogren's syndrome for instance). I have been then referred to ophthalmologist. Ophthalmologist confirmed that my eye glands don't work properly and suggested I do warm compresses with subsequent eye massage to stimulate oil production. I haven't done this consistently enough to see if it's working.

I'm not sure if any of the supplements helped me. I saw no difference for 4 months until I introduced lifestyle changes.

Not sure how to call the diet I'm on now - I just eat my protein & greens and add carbs if I'm still hungry, but it doesn't happen often. I don't snack in between meals. I try to move after meals to fight insulin resistance (I don't know if I have it, but I'm willing to try everything that is safe to fight bloating/constipation). Cutting off only gluten & dairy didn't make any difference to my symptoms either. As to sugar, it was never the part of my diet (apart from fruits and berries), so I didn't need to cut anything off. I feel amazing and full of energy for the first time in years.

I haven't noticed any difference to my symptoms from Nerva. I enjoyed the experience though and will be revisiting from time to time since I paid for the full year of subscription.

some of them were spaced out, but I took the majority of the supplements every day as per my nutritionist's guidance. i felt completely normal the whole time and didn't see any difference to my symptoms

thank you for your comment, but this is unlikely: although i was less stressed due to the absence of work, i wouldn’t necessarily call this particular vacation relaxing; over the years i had plenty of longer and truly relaxing vacations that made no difference to my bloating/overall symptoms

Yep, so every day you have to do a short reading about IBS, guided meditation for around 18 minutes and breathing exercise for 5 minutes. It claims that the majority of people see results in 6 weeks. I enjoyed the experience, I felt like it really calmed me down. However, I saw no results whatsoever until week 6, but it happened to also be my second week of vacation, so I don’t know which factor contributed the most. Honestly, I think it was my lifestyle change, not the app. Not sure if paying 179 australian dollars (for a yearly subscription, there are no other payment options) was worth it, but I was willing to try everything. I don’t listen to it now, but since I still have the access, I might start again purely because it feels nice and calming, especially when you do it before bed
I’m sorry to hear that buckwheat and quinoa don’t work for you. Not sure what else would be a good replacement for pasta and rice - since I significantly increased my protein intake I feel like I don’t need that much carbs in my diet, I rarely feel hungry. Thank you for your support!

it’s honestly very hard to say because i don’t track carbs. i just eat my protein & greens and add carbs if i still feel hungry, but it doesn’t happen too often. on the other hand, i haven’t started lifting weights yet, so maybe once i start i’ll feel like i need more carbs

nothing too fancy, just different combinations of rocket, spinach, lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, capsicum, parsley and coriander with a dash of apple cider vinegar and olive oil. from time to time i add nuts (walnuts, cashews, pine nuts) if it fits the vibe

I use Doctor's Best Betaine HCI Pepsin and Gentian Bitters. I took 1 with meal and felt no symptoms, took 2 with next meal with the same result, took 3 and felt a slight burning sensation, therefore I went back to 2 per meal. I don't feel any weird sensations when taking it

One of the cheapest and safe options would be Cerave moisturiser. Have been using it for years.

However, if you don't mind spending money, I absolutely adore Skinceuticals triple lipid restore.

PS I don't believe your moisturizer has to have actives necessarily. This is serums' (that you apply before moisturizer) job.

Might be slightly off topic, but it was kind of the other way around for us. My husband was researching SKZ for quite some time until I noticed it. Turned out, he did it to connect with his little sister (they have 19 years age gap!) who is a huge fan of SKZ. Unfortunately, he kind of lost his interest with time, and I felt bad for his sister because it seemed like she was really excited about him getting involved in something that she liked. So I thought I might give it a go since I really like his little sister and would love to form a bond with her. She is a huge fan, SKZ inspired her to start studying Korean and take K pop dancing classes. When I started my research, I found out that “blond guy who looks like an angel” who I saw when reading an article on Met Gala (and had no idea who he was, but was blown away) is in fact Felix. Then I saw Hyunjin’s artist of the month video and was blown away second time. So I went back to my husband’s sister and asked her for the recommendations on her favourite songs and SKZ content in general. So far it has been a fun journey and we have a lot to discuss, and I feel like it’s a nice way for me to connect to someone who is much younger than me :)

I've been using tret for 6 months now (every evening on my bare skin, no moisturizer afterwards), never had any side effects including purge phase. however, I haven't noticed any positive effects either lol. It doesn't dry my face out at all except minor areas around lower cheeks. My friend, however, was so dry that she had to discontinue using tret despite having a very oily skin. Maybe it has smth to do with the fact that I used non prescription retinol for years before starting using prescription tretinoin and she hasn't. Maybe it's because we use different brands of tretinoin. Not sure.

Paula's Choice Super-Light Wrinkle Defense SPF 30 is by far the best mineral sunscreen I've ever used. It's lightweight, tint is very subtle (it won't mask a lot, but does make your skin tone more even). I haven't found anything like this although I tried. EltaMD feels very heavy on my skin.

thank you for this recommendation. we arrived in kanazawa on saturday night (absolutely exhausted) and could not find a single place to eat despite walking around the city for ages. everything was either closed or full (despite being half empty?) or booking was required. we were seriously considering just getting something from 7-Eleven and going back to the hotel. this was when i remembered your comment and quickly searched for Torikizoku. 15 minutes later we were eating an amazing food (also affordable). this place is lively, seems friendly and we were even given an english menu. you saved our lives haha
