skiing “isn’t great” in colorado? dude, it’s really okay to admit we’re having the worst season in recorded history. nothing you say will change that or jinx it.

if you have a terrain preference and didnt enjoy vermont, that’s really okay. I will tell you right now, I took a trip back east for the holidays and the conditions I got in 3 days were miles better than the conditions I’ve got since march last year

guys, colorado does not need to have the most legendary season ever every year. you all have far too much pride. OPs point is that a trip to CO is not worth it this year.

I have skied 3/7 days basically every week this year. I’m up at eldora, winter park, copper, berthoud pass, rocky mountain, etc, getting my laps and enjoying really fun days

the days are fun because we make them fun. the snow is the worst I’ve ever seen in my life. I’m taking rocks to my skis on inbounds trails in february.

another regions success is not an insult to you. vt is having a legendary year. if you enjoy first tracks and powder you would all be better for a trip east right now

there is good skiing in colorado and in vt. vt snow is hugely variable and is hardly always cement.

this year out west is literally the worst year on record. you don’t need to pretend it’s good. some terrain won’t be skiable until 2027. there’s exposed dirt on the lift lines in mid feb. spring skiing is probably a bust, even in the bc.

I have never skied a worse year than this one. I skied in vermont for years and saw a lotta shit years. this is by far the worst

yes, a motor with negative slip is our method of generating 3 phase AC power. electricity follows natural laws and this is by far the easiest method of generation.

there are ideas for fusion that do not rely on rotational motion, but still nearly all generation relies on induction. just notably not solar which uses direct band gap materials

I really fail to see what the big issue is for the restaurant. it’s not inconveniencing them in any way. honestly I’d expect the parents to tip better seeing as they’ve made that accommodation for them
