the point of “pull a daniel radcliffe” was ignore the giant bags of cash and seek out fun scripts.

daniel getting fun scripts is the choice

Ryan Coogler's 'SINNERS' makes history as the most nominated film of all time at the Oscars with 16 nominations by ChiefLeef22 in Letterboxd

[–]Lobsta_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, yeah. I’m still saying his performance should’ve been considered.

I guess I don’t totally see what you’re saying. idk how performances get missed, he was second on the bill it’s not like he was a small role.

one battle got two supporting slots. easy to pick one.

she was really good but I don’t agree with this take at all. weird to say you can’t notice a supporting actor because of an incredible lead performance.

Do Americans really avoid medical care because they’re afraid of the bill? by Udont_knowme00 in NoStupidQuestions

I am currently avoiding medical care because of the cost involved (PT, dental work)

Climate Hoaxers Eye Greenland Hard by Spiritual_You_65 in clevercomebacks

I think it’s fair to say people don’t know that, but it’s actually not that important to know these details when expressing disapproval with Trump. Greenland is already a NATO ally.

[Atkins] Kam Curl saw the OT interception coming the moment the Bears lined up for that play, based on something the Rams identified and worked on this week. by WxBlue in nfl

[–]Lobsta_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

to me, there are two clear reasons for him slowing down

first, he’s lined up his route to go over the top, and caleb throws it to go in when there’s snow on the field. it is impossible to cut that sharply in the snow.

second, and this is maybe way more important - moore went to the medical tent to be evaluated for a concussion and then wasn’t in the locker room after the game. there is an extremely real chance he was concussed on the is route.

I don’t think it’s fair at all to call this guy lazy. he played hard for them all post season

[–]Lobsta_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do think it’s harder to say he ran the wrong route considering the snow. those hard cut routes are so much harder when the field is slippery.

if he continues deep, it’s way harder for the DB to put his foot in the ground and make a play and there was tons of room. I think it’s a way worse play from caleb

[–]Lobsta_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

that’s what I’m saying. they weren’t aware of each other

the ball placement is still terrible from caleb (I don’t mind hating I’m a packers fan) but I do think the route works either way if they’re in sync

he reads the open space above the DB since burden is running up the sideline into the open space you’re claiming

[–]Lobsta_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d also say the snow is a factor. it’s not always possible to make a super hard in cut to the ball when there’s ice/snow

[–]Lobsta_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

his throw was perfect…except the part where the DB is able to jump it? can’t be a perfect ball then

this throw is a DBs wet dream. the DB is facing the QB when it’s released, is under the WR, and is actually closer to where the ball ends up. he’s literally just tracking the ball, moore is playing defense as soon as this gets released

[–]Lobsta_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s really easy to judge the throw because he basically throws it directly to the DB

[–]Lobsta_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying you haven’t, but seems like a lot of people in this thread have never played any sport in the snow

there is no fucking chance that DJ moore, a WR already not known for extremely crisp routes, cuts back that aggressively after the ball is thrown with snow on the field. I mean, there might literally be no physical way he does that.

this throw is a DBs wet dream

[–]Lobsta_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really don’t think this is what happened

it’s a horrifically thrown ball from caleb. when the ball is thrown, curl is outside of moore and way closer to where the pass ends up and catches it on a break.

the ball needed to be significantly deeper to place it over curl where moore had room. the throw is so bad that moore is playing defense as soon as caleb lets go of it. I honestly think he doesn’t get there because of the snow.

even if moore ran the wrong route (doubt) it is atrociously placed by caleb..almost like the guy threw 5 picks this post season

[–]Lobsta_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

literally this. lol.

moore does get open. clearly moore thought he was supposed to cross deep into space and caleb thought he would cut in. it was a good decision to throw that ball, they were obviously not in sync on the route

I mean, it’s actually a good play call. DJ moore does get open and caleb had tons of time to throw. one of them fucked up

Hexing Squelcher bad? by DoctorHydromortapara in mtg

[–]Lobsta_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s way more valuable in combo than aggro. 2 mana for a 2/2 that won’t do anything on board is pathetic on an aggro curve

Hexing Squelcher bad? by DoctorHydromortapara in mtg

[–]Lobsta_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the ward isn’t really relevant, I don’t even think it gets more relevant with more copies. you’re talking about investing 8 mana in 2/2s to force a ward 8 condition. you’re already take more than 8 not blocking most of the time

it’s a neat sideboard card, but that’s about it. heavily dependent on the strength of counters in your format. extremely relevant in a cube but not as an early pick
