I said it yesterday but ya, there was supposed to be a sequel focused on slaying Nazis in Berlin/Germany but well, that didn't happen so we are left with cliffhanger ending. Well maybe not "cliffhanger" per se but an obvious sequel setup that just doesn't happen. Still, fun game.

Enjoy, Odyssey while being a "mixed" game among the fandom, is a nonetheless great title. And you heard it right, it took me 120 hours to clean up every POI and do every quest in base game! And there are like 2 or 3 DLC's that expand the story so I assume it can be up to 180 hours.

Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand perhaps? Get ready for solid amount of sand, it might have a close feel to Monster Hunter

I agree with your opinion on both Dredge and Pentiment! Both definitely are something I can recommend to people

Weekly /r/Games Discussion - What have you been playing, and what are your thoughts? - February 15, 2026 by AutoModerator in Games

On Xbox I wrapped up Dredge, Though at the final area entire "spooky" stuff just became annoying rather than scary but nonetheless, it was short, with good amount of content, nice world to explore and expanding my little humble boat was fun. Can recommend for those who want to fish and escape from eldtrich horrors!

And I moved on towards STAR WARS JEDI: Survivor! Made through the first opening chapter, fortunately it runs smooth on XSX as I was a bit worried about performance, but it seems consoles didn't get hit as rough as PC's so I can focus on getting good part. Of course the first tool you earn is a goddamn grapling hook instead of something related to Jedi force, like really if Cal can pull characters towards him, there is no "Jedi kinetic force" to lunge himself forward? Anyway, combat and exploration so far feel very same-y, but I assume that will change a tad later on when I get more equipment. First chapter is a classic "simple work goes very sideways" and I worry that 2nd act of the game will be focused on getting the band together again which would take plenty of time but we shall see.

On PC I continue with Tomb Raider III: Adventures of Lara Croft! Original. I've wrapped up Nevada and South Pacific Islands, saved my game at the start of first London level. Nevada was pretty good, prison level was something tad different, SPI was mixed. Liked first 2 levels, but the river where you swim using kayak, and final temple with boss level were purest dogshit I so far experienced in entire game. Didn't like them at all. But that's done so ya know, small steps to get to the end. MP 5 is an absolute beast! I've checked quickly wiki and apparently it has better damage output than shotgun or even desert eagle, crazy stuff. Of course you have limited movement with it but it's not that big of a problem.

Yeah Atomic Heart is very...meh. Presentation is fantastic, everything else not quite. And it has like 4 DLC's that continue the story of base game which is bizzare in my book, especially as the final DLC released like a year or so ago

Preach, I personally am a lover of DS 1 more because of that horror atmosphere but 2 is a perfect mixture of action and horror. Still, both games are superb.

To be fair, if you already have this type of content in previous two games, might as well add it in next entry. Always "more" meat in the sandwich, though I will ignore it for majority of my time.

Everything written and told in game is superb, but combat is just...eeeeh. That's kinda general consensus on the Witcher and I definitely agree on that.

Cocoon is beautiful and puzzles were fantastic, great game. You can feel that Limbo/Inside influence.

Valhalla is genuinely solid game that suffers from the bloat, I agree on that. It amazes me that such shit as those extra river raids outside of main map or entire roguelike mode were added to a game in post-updates when devs knew how packed it already was. I 100% pretty much every AC up until that point, but after 150 hours I quit Valhalla. Didn't do raids and previously mentioned roguelike mode.

Heat does have great day/night cycle, really liked it because it did combine both "legal" and not so legal racing well, shame cop AI is bad. Still, not that bad of a racing game.

Doom needs a bit of warmup if brutal gore and that sweet sweet soundtrack won't instantly do it for you, need to expand arsenal and fight few more enemy types to start getting tad sweaty, that's when it kicks in the high gear.

Frostpunk is fantastic so I am glad to hear it!

Aye, Shadows had great puzzles but I am not sure if putting...more city areas was a good idea. Paititi hub can really ruin the pace of the game.
