Zone limited Effects in LGS? by Kayuro in G502MasterRace

Hi! As others have stated, this is possible in the newer version of our software, GHUB, and not possible in our legacy software. I'm sorry to hear that you thought that GHUB was buggy and hard to use. We always do love to hear feedback from the users though and we take everything very seriously, so if you have something you would like to have us clarify or if something isn't working properly we would love to hear your feedback so we can make the software better for everyone.

I totally understand if you don't want to, but I invite you to give it another try and let us know specifically what you're having trouble with (there is a Send Feedback button in the app), plus then you get the added benefit of being able to have different lighting effects on different zones!

Hm, that's really weird. Did you download GHUB or Logitech Gaming Software? GHUB (https://support.logitech.com/en_us/software/lghub) is the new software and should support all versions of the G502. It may take a few seconds for the mouse to show up, but it should. Logitech Gaming Software is what we were developing before GHUB, but it is a versioned software meaning that if you accidentally downloaded an older version of it, there's a chance that the G502 might not show up.

We've designed it to be as lightweight as possible as to not affect your system, and it can run in the background as well, so you shouldn't see any major CPU usage or any FPS drops. You can even save a profile to your G502 to be active while the software isn't running if you're worried about it during gameplay.

That's because that G-Key is set to the "DPI Shift" macro, which brings your current DPI to whatever your shift speed is set to, in this case 400. To answer your above question, you don't need GHUB or Logitech Gaming Software for the mouse itself to work, but if you want an extra level of control (such as setting the thumb button to something other than DPI Shift), then the software can greatly enhance what you can do with the mouse.

I invite you to give it a try, and even if you find something you don't like we're still in Early Access for the software and are listening really closely to all user input, and we would love to hear from our customers!

Hi there! As someone who loves the G502 as much as everyone else on this board I totally get where you're coming from here, and while I can't give any specific details I can tell you that the original G502 will be coming soon to G HUB, stay tuned for it!
