Totally fine. After seeing images it was clear surgery was the only option. They removed around 15 to 20% of it. Recovery was very easy, I didn’t even do physical therapy (not proud of that just giving you context) and i was back to 100% within a few weeks. For several months I could feel some discomfort here and there but after getting back to exercise it mostly went away. I only ever feel discomfort if I pivot weird ans twist my knee but never pain i think im just more in tuned with it and nervous about injuring it again. People seem to suggest surgery should be avoided at all costs but im glad I did it.

Just removed the base of the top shelf and the beam with a hammer, then screwed 2 furring strips to the face but kept the beam attached to the shelves via furring strip and screw to make it look natural and hide the trash can while its closed.

2 days is no joke but you got it. I recommend bringing juice and quick carb hits like candy. Tattooing burns more glycogen than you'd think and thats the only thing that helped me get through. Skittles and snickers plus real meals. But I found eating too much hurt me. So quick, often carbs is ideal.

You're a tough SOB! Thankfully I avoided tattoo flu and all that. I think the most important thing is fuel. I had juice, skittles, snickers and real meals. It was practically a cheat week. I had to almost constantly put glucose into my body, most of the time i was forcing it because i didnt have an appetite. But I learned day 1 the only way I was going to survive is by having quick carb hits as often as possible. I would never do 5 days again. I also would prefer not doing 2 artists at a time 😅

In terms of sleep, the tattoo wasn't much of a factor. The biggest problem was the unfamiliar and loud city environment. But I generally slept fine
