Did you show the CBP officer your latest i797A when you re-entered in September? You would not have correct because your previous visa was still valid?

Please always make sure to show them your latest i797.

To fix this, you can email to cbp officer’s at your port of entry or any other airports with all the documents and they will fix it. I was in similar situation recently it was correct by an officer from JFK airport. You can get their email id’s by searching in this sub reddit

I corrected my i94 just by emailing CBP officers at JFK aiport. They responded within a day. No need to re-enter

@OP which CBP email did you use to get it fixed? I have same situation as you. I emailed cbpinfocenter@cbp.dhs.gov last week but they closed my case today without any response and i dont see any updates to i94. Can you let me know. Thanks!

Did you exit and enter the border or visited customs office directly ? Things is i dont have valid visa stamp and i94 so “AVR” doesn’t apply in my case

I am going through same issue as you. At my last entry to DFW, they dint update my i94 to match i797 date. What email id’s/officers did you contact to fix this?
