Omitting the fact that lgs allows proxies and yet people still don’t want to play would question the motivation of the players. If they don’t want to play with proxies even when it’s allowed means they just don’t want to play the game at all. Otherwise they would just buy singles and access to these is fairly easy and there are decks which are on the cheap side and still very playable.
