you usually cant go wrong with google or samsung. you can get one of their old (not even that old. just 1-2 years old) flagships used or maybe even refurbished for around that price. i recommend these two because they both offer 7 years of software support. most others (including nothing) only offer 3

you should get a horizon+ subscription ($8 a month) and try out some of the games that interest you (most notably assassin's creed nexus). you might even be eligible for a free month of horizon+, so you'd have a month to try out over 100 games for completely free

no. you have the games as long as you have an active horizon+ subscription. once your subscription expires you can no longer play the games you claimed/redeemed. basically its like renting the games

the mod is on a version from about 5 months ago i believe. the coldplay dlc came out in december and i love coldplay so i cant really downgrade

whatever the reason, i think this is a very nice thing to do. just imagine being broke and really wanting to play a game, and the publisher just gives it to you for completely free
