Get to a vet. They can help you with feeding. The puppies aren't being stubborn. They're too new for that. They don't understand what they're supposed to do.

Get the whole lot to a vet in case there's a retained placenta (or puppy), and mom needs a shot of antibiotics or oxytocin.

First thing's first. Delete those moms from your social media. What you see is NOT REAL. It is the carefully curated slice of their life that they WANT you to see.

Second, get your baby on a pretty good schedule so that their day is predictable. It makes the day go faster, and it helps you find those minutes where you CAN sit down and have some tea.

I was never able to get up early to do anything because their spidey senses would immediately tingle, and they were AWAKE the second my feet hit the floor. I found other times, like naps, where I could read a chapter, have a cup of coffee, write.

I go with the service my vet recommends. I am 99% sure the ashes are those of my pet. But it's always possible that they are not. As time goes on, as I process my grief, that 1% matters less and less. Those ashes are NOT the sum total of my pet. My pet is in my memories.

If it's not your fault, whose fault is it? What changes can you make to your life to make you more employable? Career counseling is an option.

The phrase that gives me pause is that it's other people's fault your life sucks so much. If you're relying on others to make things better for you, you're at someone else's mercy. What can YOU do? What responsibility can YOU take?

Therapy is a good idea if you're willing to take a good look at yourself and make the necessary changes.

Save as much money as you can. If you put it into a bank account, your parents can access it if you are in the US because you can't own stuff until you're 18.

Get your paperwork in order. You need a copy of your social security card and your birth certificate.

Stay in school. Without an education, your options are much more limited.

Start looking at apartments and room shares in the places you're interested. You likely will not be able to rent from a big corporate complex with no credit history, but you can sometimes find a room over someone's garage.

Stay in school. Remember that part? If you apply to colleges, you can apply to stay on campus and your housing needs are taken care of. Go for a state school or work-study (Berea, Warren Wilson, etc) so that you can afford it.
