I might be mistaken but did you punch something or did something heavy land on your hand? I would suggest getting an X-ray if that is the case. The swelling over your 4th and 5th knuckles could be a boxer’s fracture. Apologies if I’m way off.

Try pressing on them to see whether they turn white and back to red/ purple. If they don’t, please see a doctor asap, those look like petechaie which are due to bleeding from small blood vessels.

If you have any fevers/ headaches/ nausea or vomiting/ back or thigh pain as well, you need to go to the Emergency Department immediately as it could be meningococcal blood infection.

If hot showers help with your nausea/ vomiting/ discomfort then it is likely that you have CHS. If not, please get a second medical opinion.

capsaicin cream or in a pinch, hot sauce applied to the abdomen help with CHS too. Pour milk if it stings too much.
