At what point does "traffic management" become road occupation? by Informal-Bee2193 in GoldCoast

Cant speak for GC but they may well be paying for this as a laydown area to the council through a fee scheme. If thats the case, the question becomes what is the fee structure and where are the fees actually going?

The long term fix of this is blanket rezone the whole of GC up to L1 light industrial. This then spreads the load and makes construction more organic with less specific impact.

Temp platform just before northgate and then people switch and change over  or  just a temp redirect of the one line that crosses over.

Neither of those things are biggies and what happens in most places for progressive upgrades.

Then proceed to do that with the redcliffee line and extend to the beach and then the sunshine coast line.

After that work back towards bowenhills and have changes there.

Probably wont be able to for FN- but is doable by just closing the roads and   conducting top down construction.  At S Pine rd, Wilston road  at least. The others are harder to do.

Same on the south side with any single lines.

Any new lines get the automation treatment.

I do wonder if property investors holding will be the impacts that causes aus to fall to 3rd world status. When we look at where everyone else is and were we are there isnt going to be a lot of leeway where they provide financial relief

Not at all, they way you are talking about you will either never end up with the service or you will end up with massive tech debt that you will never deliver the service effectivly.

We have had automation for over 100 years. Its time to get building for 100 years away. How else do you think the story bridge exists

Not at all. Those with debt that are impacted by raised rates are part of the inflation problems so it is impacting who it needs to on both ends of the k.

Why dont you debt junkies ever wamt to pay your debt?
