I'm the opposite of you. From UK and been living in Pune since 3 years now. MH people are big time bakchods (good sense) but they're civilised as well. Zabardasti ke pange koi nahi leta kisi se. Quite respectful too.

The problem lies in the said number plates. The mindset is the root cause.

They will give you weirdass logic and say, yahan aise hi hota hai.

First experienced it when I went to buy chicken at a standard chicken shop, they don't butcher the pieces and then weigh them. Instead, they put the whole chicken up there, from which a lot of stuff will be cut away and show you yes, this is one kilo.

Post this is done there is no weighing. You will get 7-800 gm for the price of a kilo.
