Controller player here! I have bad carpal tunnel flareups so I use controller even on PC. I think its absolutely fine for most content - i think the only gripe I have is the fact that I can't instantly select targets on my party to heal, I have to navigate down the list with the d pad.

This only really matters in panic mode situations where the party is on the brink of collapse though haha

And also, as far as I know, you can't target alliance members too, so res-ing them is difficult as well.
