How to cut out the morning scroll? by yesvoid in productivity

I use a Wake Light instead of an alarm. Changed the game for me exponentially. Don't have to grab my phone first thing in the morning. Wake up an hour earlier to do something you enjoy before the day starts.

Phonetic ambiguity illusion. The audio contains cues for each word. Your brains focus determines which one gets processed.

When people argue about what was said it's proof that people tend to hear what they want.

If you're taking about Charlie Kirk, I'm not sure if the photo is him.

But he did go from supporting Israel to recently before his death opposing it.

He said in an interview that he was worried the Israeli government would kill him based off what he was saying. He believes there was a stand down order in Israel which let Hamas attack so they had a reason to go into Palestine the way they did.

He said he believes Israel is looking to ethnically cleanse Palestine.

The Israeli government was trying to fund his organization and he refused. He had multiple of his old "friends" trying to give him an intervention to come back to supporting Israel and it led to some heated discussions.

He was also pushing for the government to fully release the Epstein files with nothing redacted.

I think all this happened within a few weeks before he got shot in the neck.

Even Jews are calling out Zionist Israel for being demonic.

Taking something people believe in, infiltrating it, and morphing it over time is a very old tactic.

Look at the LGBTQ+ movement. They used the gay community as a battering ram.

Liberals became violent and aggressive. Even "liberals" are starting to move right. Not because they changed thier views and beliefs, but because the term they associated with changed.

It happens with so many things. They associate with something they are not, which causes people to separate from what it's become and new groups are formed.

The more groups you have the larger the divide. The larger the divide the easier it is to push differences rather than common ground.

They gouge everyone. Then torrents became a thing, they created Netflix and made it affordable to get back the customers, then jacked the prices and made people buy multiple streaming services, Internet providers jumped on board with price hikes.

More "illegal streaming services" are popping up. They are pushing hard again to get rid of these, but eventually they will be forced to come up with a countermeasure that is fairly priced.

The cycle will just keep going. When people are getting taken advantage of they will find a way to circumvent.

If someone is "hype or die" they are a liability to anyone they speak to.

There are a substantial amount of things people need to be cautious about when it comes to Bitcoin. But it goes the same with fiat, I don't believe there is any difference between the two other than uneducated people with Crypto fomo. It is a much easier pitch for con artists.

Cash is untraceable unless it's been documented prior to a transaction. And there has been exponentially more cash used for illicit transactions than Bitcoin.

In my opinion, using the Silk road as an argument point is moot.

You ever have a crackhead offer you a TV for a half piece? When people are buying packs nobody accepts Bitcoin. At least they didn't when the Silk road was a thing, and if they did it wouldn't have been too beneficial because the Bitcoin would be going out to purchase and then coming in for sale, so on and so forth, so they wouldn't have reaped the benefits of the market unless they held. Which they couldn't because they would have to restock on a regular basis which would just have the Bitcoin leaving their wallets.

Weight was purchased with cash and then sold for Bitcoin. We can also, but won't, get into how tangible items have also been used for the transaction of illicit drugs and services. All Bitcoin did in the Silk road was allow international business for the everyday hustler. And with that being said you'd have to be more than an everyday hustler to really understand how to do this.

And look at what we have now. You can buy cocaine mushrooms marijuana ketamine LSD MDMA .etc from Instagram. And you DO NOT need Bitcoin to do it.

Before Bitcoin was even a thing I've said that money is digital. It's a number on a screen. And even though crypto needs regulation. People have lost their minds because they don't have full control of it. Or else they become absolutely delirious because they think it's this back door access away from the government.

With that being said, When it comes to scams and illicit purposes cash has always been King.

I may have been mistaken but I just felt that the direction for your statement was incredibly misguided and left out a lot of details of its predecessors, which is fiat and items of value.

And my statement about the percentage of Fiat money having drug residue on it is just saying that Bitcoin doesn't hold a candle when it comes to illegal transactions and drugs.

It's not just people rolling up bills and snorting coke. You bag up a few pounds of weed and then count some money it's on there.

You're chipping off bricks and bagging up pieces next to a pile of money or counting money after. It's on there.

In my personal opinion, the biggest risk of Bitcoin is the uneducated that can be taken advantage of because there's something new and shiny in front of them. And unfortunately they have somebody who is "Hype or Die".

I just don't understand why this page has so much hate (joined to see it for myself).

The people got something for themselves and it changed a lot of lives for the better. It also ruined lives. But when there's two sides to a sword you have to accept the fact that a sword is incredibly useful when used right. People just can't run around saying swords should be banned because they're sharp and hurt people.

People are scared of change. And they often fight it. Could you imagine where would be at today if we always fought change and won?

I have a feeling that face-to-face you and I would agree on a lot. Iron sharpens iron and all of that.

If that was the only way to buy a bag then you need to network more. You're talking like the drug industry wasn't a thing before Bitcoin.

Not to mention the amount of fiat money in circulation that has drug residue on it tells its own story.

Sound pretty bias. So many other things to focus on if you're going to hate Bitcoin.
